Steps to Verify Any Wins from the August Prize Draw

The NS and I representative known as Agent Million will personally notify each of the one million pound jackpot recipients. Holders of Premium Bonds have the ability to verify whether they have secured any of the smaller prizes ranging from twenty five pounds up to one hundred thousand pounds starting from the day after the first working day of the month. For the August draw this verification becomes available beginning on the fourth of August. Verification can be completed through the dedicated Premium Bonds prize checker application by accessing the official NS and I website or even by making an inquiry to the voice assistant Alexa.

Both the prize checker application and the website will display any prizes secured during the current month along with any winnings from the prior six draws and any older prizes that remain unclaimed. Access requires either the specific bond number or the NS and I account number. Because Premium Bonds never expire it remains worthwhile to check periodically for any outstanding prizes even if the bonds were purchased many years earlier. NS and I has indicated that more than ninety nine percent of all prizes have been successfully paid out to winners since the draws first began in nineteen fifty seven although approximately two point eight million prizes continue to sit unclaimed at the present time.
